Protexsa initiates operations in 1989 with 50% owned by Kattan Group and 50% by Van Heusen. In 2002 Kattan Group acquires 100% of Protexsa directing its sales strategy to Full Package with a system based on Cut, Sewing, Finishing and Packing. In November 2007 Protexsa expanded its operations to the city of Tegucigalpa.
